Innovations that save lives

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting a special event at our São Paulo office in partnership with the Instituto Vencer o Câncer.

The Instituto Vencer o Câncer is a Civil Society Organization dedicated to informing the public about risk factors, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer. Additionally, the institute advocates for patients’ rights and the development of effective public policies for oncology patients, transforming healthcare access in Brazil through science.

Our founder and Co-Chairman of the Board, Gustavo Marini, opened the evening by welcoming the attendees, followed by Dr. Fernando Maluf, co-founder of the institute, who shared insights into research centers, highlighting their importance for advancing medicine. He emphasized how these centers are crucial for developing new treatments and medications, and discussed the challenges and opportunities in the field of oncology in Brazil. Dr. Maluf also underscored the critical role of clinical research in innovation and the continuous improvement of patient care.

This gathering was incredibly enriching and highly significant, offering a unique opportunity to learn more about research centers and their relevance in the fight against cancer.
