Fireside chat and drinks with a16z

This week we welcomed venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) to an event held in our office in São Paulo.

In order to discuss the VC market, its opportunities, risks and challenges, we were pleased to have partners Scott Kupor and David Haber with us.

Over the course of two hours, we talked about the maturing of the Venture Capital market in Latin America, the variations in activity in companies of different levels (early stage and late stage) and SPACs.

The conversation was moderated by our partner Rodrigo Louro, CEO of Turim UK.

With around US$30 billion in assets under management, a16z is known for anticipating market movements. The firm’s portfolio includes technology companies in seed, venture and late-stage stages, with a focus in biotech, healthcare, crypto, consumer, gaming and fintech.
