Febraban Tech 2024

Last week, our Turim team had the pleasure of attending FEBRABAN TECH 2024, the largest technology and innovation event in the financial sector, held from June 25 to 27 at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo.

Representing Change Turim were Luiza Queiroz, Head of Client Experience and UX, Luiza Ribeiro, PO of Change Turim, and Evandro Guimarães Demuth, Head of IT Development.

With the central theme “The Responsible Journey in the New AI Economy,” Febraban Tech 2024 highlighted the financial sector’s preparation to responsibly use advancements in artificial intelligence. The event brought together leaders from the financial, technology, sustainability, agriculture, and other innovation-focused sectors to discuss relevant topics in the digital economy.

Some of the topics addressed included trust, security, and business transformation through responsible AI; the role of Open Finance and Pix in the global financial landscape; emerging opportunities and trends in the tokenized economy with DREX; and the future vision of banks in ensuring cybersecurity. Discussions also covered the intelligence of data in customer loyalty, the importance of speed and reliability in connectivity for financial services, and agility, efficiency, and cost in cloud multiplication. Other themes included how digital technology expands and connects markets, the combination of empathy and technology in the new professional profile, the transition to ESG practices in Brazil, and the partnership between fintechs and banks to strengthen the sector and promote inclusion.

It was an excellent opportunity for our team to stay updated on the innovations and trends shaping the future of the financial sector.
