Last week, our Illiquid Investments Analyst, Carolina Assis, participated in significant panels at alternative investment industry events in Brazil.

On Thursday, June 13, Carolina took part in an inspiring discussion organized by the CAIA Latin America Chapter with Preqin on “The Growth of Private Capital in Brazil.” The panel addressed the landscape of alternative investments in Brazil and abroad, the main challenges, and future perspectives.

Carolina also attended the inaugural edition of the Brazil LP Investment Summit, held on June 18 in São Paulo by Portfolio Summits, alongside renowned investment market specialists.

In the panel on “Institutional Allocations to Venture Capital,” the speakers discussed the benefits of venture capital funds in accessing cutting-edge technologies and addressing critical issues such as climate change and diversity. Carolina shared her insights on the state of the Venture Capital market and the criteria we use for manager selection.
