Empower Conference & AWS Cloud Experience 2024

Our #TBT goes to two important technology events in Brazil that our IT Development, Change, and Data Analysis teams attended last week.

On May 8th, the #EmpowerConference, organized by Microsoft, delved into the use of Microsoft Power Platform tools—a low-code development platform that allows for rapid application creation, even for those with little or no software development knowledge. Our Head of IT Development, Evandro Guimarães Demuth, attended, watching practical demonstrations and exploring the latest Power Platform innovations. He learned to develop customized and efficient solutions, highlighting the importance of low-code technologies to increase productivity and improve customer interaction.

On May 9th, the AWS Cloud Experience 2024, organized by Amazon Web Services (AWS), focused on generative artificial intelligence. The event explored key industry models and generative AI applications, considering data security and privacy. Our team had the opportunity to attend presentations by AWS experts on industry advancements, participate in practical demonstrations and technical sessions, and discuss real-world applications of this technology in various industries, such as financial services, retail, and manufacturing. Evandro Guimarães Demuth and Brenno Delphino from the IT Development team, Luiza Ribeiro from the Change team, and Pedro Henrique Brandão and Bernardo Marins from the Data Analysis team attended.

The event also provided an excellent networking space, allowing for the exchange of experiences and knowledge with other professionals and industry experts.
