VRB & Viva Real: Brazil: Present, Past, and Future
Sustainability
Leonardo Martins Moraes, our co-CEO, and our partner Roberta Goulart, Chief Sustainability Officer, attended the event “Brazil: Present, Past, and Future,” which celebrated the 30 years of the NGO Viva Rio and 7 years of VRB Impact, at the beginning of the month.
As one of the founders and investment managers of VRB’s fund of funds (FoFs) family, Turim is very proud to be part of the project’s history, a pioneer in donating the total amount of their net management fees to social projects.
As a member of the Investment Committee of VRB’s FoFs, Leonardo participated in event’s opening remarks, held at Pinheiro Neto Advogados office in São Paulo, while Roberta was the master of ceremonies for the event.
With coverage by Brazil Journal, the event promoted discussions on ESG, investments, and market perspectives, with a focus on risks and opportunities in Brazil, and featured the participation of some of the biggest names in the financial market, such as Tátil Design, Astella Investimentos, Positive Ventures, JGP, Pátria Investimentos, and Dynamo, who participated in two panels.
In the first panel, André Lago Jakurski, Alexandre Saigh, and Fernando Pires discussed their investment strategies, what keeps them up at night, as well as the mistakes and risks in the current scenario. To watch, access this link: Panel 1.
In the second panel, Fred Gelli talked about the future of the planet and the challenges of social impact businesses, with two venture capital investors, Laura Constantini and Andrea Oliveira. To watch, access this link: Panel 2.
We congratulate VRB for the event and for the partnership over the years.
May we continue to generate positive impacts together!
